JESSICA MONROE, LMSW

Licensed Master Social Worker

Life transitions, unexpected challenges, and family stress can feel overwhelming, especially during vulnerable seasons. I offer a warm, supportive space where individuals and families can process emotions, build coping skills, and feel more grounded as they move through difficult moments.

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with a background in pediatric social work and hospital-based case management. I have supported patients and families across Mother/Baby, NICU, Pediatrics, PICU, Labor and Delivery, and Women’s Care units, as well as through acute crisis work. This experience has deeply shaped my compassionate, trauma-informed approach to therapy and my understanding of how stress, grief, and uncertainty affect both individuals and family systems.

I work collaboratively with clients navigating anxiety, adjustment, grief, and major life transitions. I am especially passionate about supporting parents and caregivers, individuals impacted by birth or postpartum experiences, and those balancing their own emotional well-being while caring for others. My style is relational, strength-based, and rooted in empathy; helping clients feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Therapy with me is a space to slow down, feel understood, and develop tools for resilience and healing—at your own pace, in a way that honors your unique story.

Jessica is a multiculturally sensitive, trauma-informed Licensed Master Social Worker with experience in the educational and acute care medical settings. Her clinical expertise includes working with children and families in Pediatrics and the PICU, supporting families through hospitalization, critical illness, medical trauma, and complex care needs. She also has extensive experience in maternal–child care, including high-risk pregnancies, perinatal grief and loss, postpartum mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), and family adjustment during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Social Work.

As a Licensed Master Social Worker, Jessica receives direct and clinical supervision from an AZBBHE approved clinical supervisor, Danica Williams, MA, LPC, PMH-C (danica@novusleaf.sprucecare.com, 520-492.0492). Her work is logged, monitored, discussed, and reviewed by her clinical supervisor. Client care is handled with professional quality; knowledge, feedback, and insight are gained from a team of professionals. Counselor accountability, growth, and development within this supportive infrastructure is emphasized.

Therapy is not a one-size fits all.

Danica utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach, drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities to address the unique needs of each client.
